Q: what was your reason to come to India?
A: We came to India mainly because of my husbands job.
Q: Where does your husband work?
A: My husband works in a German company called "Suspa".
Q: When did you reach India?
Q: What was the first thing you thought or felt when you reached India?
A: We definitely felt that Bangalore was much hotter than Austria. We felt India quite noisy and we were overwhelmed by the crowds of people everywhere.
Q: How do you find India so far?
A: We find India very different but interesting: more colorful, crowded, hotter and noisier than Europe.
Q: What have you learnt from India up till now?

A: (husband) I have learnt to have a different mind set .
Q: What do you do in your free time here?
A: (Andrea) I go to the gym, I read and prepare notes for German class.
9.Q: What was your most exciting experience in India ?
A: Well there have been so many. Every day here is as exciting as the previous. But there was this one time where we had taken a holiday in Masinagudi where I ( Andrea) was pregnant with my son and we had booked a tree house to stay in and considering the fact that I was pregnant it was quite a challenge to climb up the tree to reach the house and on the very same night there had been very heavy rainfall. This was something that we both find quite exciting
Q: How do you find the Indian food ?
A: The very name of Indian food excites my taste buds (gets really excited ). I love the Indian food and the spices here are just amazing !!! My favourite Indian foods are dal makhani and channa masala. My daughter loves to eat curd rice. Indian food is something that I am going to miss really badly when I return to Austria.
Q: What are the differences between the Austrian and the Indian culture?
A: The German culture is presized while the Indian culture is flexible. The schools in Austria begin teaching reading and writing skills at the age of 6 whereas in India the teaching of these skills begin at the age of 3 or
Q: Do you have any plans to return back to Austria?
A: Yes in another year or so!
